Making the volleyball program's first appearance in the NJCAA D2 National Tournament the No. 15 seed Frederick Community College Cougars took on defending national champions No. 2 seed Glendale Community College. The Gauchos defeated the Cougars 3-0. With the loss FCC falls to 27-4 on the year and the Gauchos improve to 30-2 on the season.
FCC freshman outside hitter Amy Gust recorded six kills on the afternoon while teammates Emily Rabat and Jackie Burns registered three kills. Freshman setter Victoria Bryant dished out 17 assists while sophomore Victoria Ketner dug 16 balls for FCC.
FCC will return to the court on Friday afternoon where they will face-off against the No. 10 seed Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College in the consolation bracket.
