Bio

Anna Witt has served as the Head Coach of the Frederick Community College Cougars Women’s Volleyball program since April 21, 2025, bringing a strong track record of success and a passion for athlete development.

Prior to joining Frederick, Witt led the Trinity Christian High School varsity volleyball program and coached with the Morgantown Volleyball Club. In her first season at Trinity, she guided the team to a Mason-Dixon Conference championship and a sectional title—achievements the program had not reached in a decade. Under her leadership, Trinity advanced to consecutive sectional competitions and established a new benchmark with a perfect 10-0 home record in one season. Over two seasons, she compiled an impressive 62-23-1 record, reflecting a 72% winning percentage.

Witt’s accomplishments have earned her recognition across the region, including WV OVAC High School Volleyball Coach of the Year honors and a Mason-Dixon Coach of the Year nomination. Beyond wins and awards, she has made a lasting impact on the Morgantown volleyball community through her commitment to player development and program growth.

A graduate of West Virginia University with a bachelor’s degree in Multidisciplinary Studies, Witt concentrated her studies in Sports Coaching, Early Childhood Development, and Special Education. Her academic background supports her holistic coaching philosophy, which emphasizes skill development, personal growth, and teamwork.

As a player, Witt competed for seven years with Tribe Volleyball Club in South Florida while attending Boca Raton Community High School, gaining valuable experience that continues to shape her approach to the game.

Her coaching experience spans a wide range of age groups, including youth and summer league programs, as well as club teams in both West Virginia and Florida. Witt is dedicated to fostering a competitive, supportive culture and is committed to elevating the Frederick Community College volleyball program while helping student-athletes succeed on and off the court.
