Bio

Kevin Conley has served as the head coach of the Frederick Community College women’s soccer program since December 3, 2025, bringing more than two decades of experience and a deep connection to the Frederick County soccer community. Known for his commitment to player development and program building, Conley has a proven track record of success across the high school, club, and youth levels.

Conley previously served as the varsity boys’ soccer coach at Walkersville High School, where he became the program’s all-time winningest coach. During his tenure, he guided the team to a county championship, multiple conference titles, and several regional final appearances. His leadership earned him Frederick County Coach of the Year honors twice, as well as Mid-Maryland Athletic Conference (MACS) Coach of the Year recognition.

He also played a key role in strengthening Walkersville’s girls’ soccer program as an assistant coach, helping expand the developmental pipeline and contribute to a conference championship season and top regional seeding.

At the club level, Conley has more than 15 years of experience coaching with FC Frederick and Frederick Excel, leading boys’ U15–U19 teams to multiple league championships, including two President’s Cup titles and a regional final appearance. He has recorded more than 200 career club wins and was instrumental in the merger that formed FC Frederick, where he also served in leadership roles including Vice President and Equipment Director.

Conley holds a U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) “B” License and has completed extensive coaching education through U.S. Soccer. His commitment to the sport extends throughout the community, including leadership roles with the Greater Velocity Athletic Association (GVAA) and Rocky Hill Middle School. As Soccer Co-Commissioner for GVAA, he helped develop year-round programming and establish the Lions Select tournament teams.

A member of the Frederick County Soccer Hall of Fame, Conley has also served as its president, helping revitalize key initiatives such as the Frederick County Senior All-Star Showcase and co-founding the Lescalleet-Sheffler Scholarship, which supports graduating soccer student-athletes.

With deep roots in the local soccer community and a strong emphasis on character, accountability, and development, Conley is dedicated to building a competitive and student-centered program at Frederick Community College.
