On August 19, 2024, Rodney Bennett, Director of Athletics, announced that Kristi Beckman was hired as the Head Coach of the Frederick Community College Women's Soccer Team for the 2024-25 season.

"I am very excited to bring Coach Beckman to Frederick Community College to help develop and lead our women's soccer program," said Rodney Bennett, Director of Athletics. "Her passion is infectious, and her love for soccer and experience is through the roof at all levels. I am extremely excited to have her on board.”

Beckman is a coach, educator, leadership instructor, and lifelong learner. She brings with her more than 30 years of coaching experience at the high school, junior college, NCAA Division I, professional, and academy levels. She brings a wealth of experience and a passion for soccer to Frederick Community College.

She was the co-head coach at NOVA Community College Men’s Soccer and a women’s soccer assistant coach at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Beckman recently worked with Washington Spirit Academy, Loudoun United FC, DC Power FC, and DC United Academy. She was the head coach of the Boys’ Varsity Soccer team at Charles J. Colgan High School, Southwestern Youth Association (SYA) Soccer, and Northern Virginia Soccer Club.  

In addition, she served on the Board of Directors of Doradus FC, was the Academy Director for Virginia Revolution and the Executive Leadership Director at the USL Super League’s newest professional women’s soccer team DC Power.
