Frederick Rallies Past Montgomery in Thrilling Fourth Quarter

Frederick Community College women's basketball delivered an electrifying comeback on Saturday, defeating the Montgomery College Raptors 83-76. After trailing for most of the game, the Cougars erupted in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Raptors 28-9 to secure their fourth win in a row and improve to 5-6 overall and 3-4 in Region 20 Division II play.

The dynamic duo of Trinity Lindblade and Heaven Murray powered the offense, each scoring 27 points in a balanced attack. Lindblade dialed in from deep with six three-pointers, while Murray dominated inside and added nine rebounds and seven assists. Taliyah Alexander chipped in 11 points, and Maylee Regan contributed 12 points and five boards to round out a strong team effort.

Frederick shot an impressive 50.8% from the field and connected on 10 three-pointers, overcoming Montgomery's early advantage. The Raptors led 67-55 heading into the final period, but FCC's relentless defense and clutch shooting flipped the script in dramatic fashion.

The Cougars now turn their attention to their next challenge on the road against CCBC Catonsville Cardinals on December 17 at 5 PM, looking to build momentum heading into the holiday break.
