Shawn Karpaitis Named 2024 NJCAA DII Baseball All-American

Shawn Karpaitis has been named a 2025 NJCAA Division II Baseball All-American by the NJCAA Division II Baseball Committee. A native of Mechanicsburg, PA, and a sophomore outfielder, Karpaitis turned in one of the most memorable and dominant seasons in Cougars baseball history.

Known for his explosive bat and steady presence in the lineup, Karpaitis played in all 56 games this season, hitting an impressive .384 with 19 home runs—eighth most in the country. He also drove in 71 runs (11th nationally), crossed the plate 59 times, and tallied 137 total bases (19th nationally). His .835 slugging percentage ranked ninth in the nation, showcasing his power and consistency at the plate. Defensively, he posted a .911 fielding percentage.

With this honor, Karpaitis becomes the 46th player in FCC history to be named an NJCAA All-American, a reflection not only of his hard work and dedication, but also of the program's continued standard of excellence.
