Masters is Committed to Moving on to Jacksonville University
Frederick Community College sophomore baseball scholar-athlete Aidan Masters has signed a letter of intent to continue his academic and athletic career at Jacksonville University.
Masters' versatility on the field and his bat at the plate have him off to quite a start this season, leading the Cougars with 27 hits and a .422 batting average. The No. 5 ranked FCC baseball team is currently 18-3 on the season and riding a 14-game winning streak. Masters will finish this season with Frederick and transfer to Jacksonville in the fall.
Masters turned in a solid season for the Cougars during his freshman year at Frederick. The multi-talented right-hander hit .387 with 46 RBIs and 46 runs, leading the Cougars to a 42-7 season and an NJCAA World Series appearance.
Masters is from Elizabethtown, PA, and graduated from Mount Calvary Christian.
Jacksonville University Dolphins
The Dolphins finished the 2022 season with a record of 27-28, including 13-16 in the ASUN Conference. The ASUN Conference, formerly the Atlantic Sun Conference, is a premier NCAA Division I conference operating primarily in the Southeastern United States.
Dolphins baseball is competing with the likes of Central Arkansas, FGCU (currently ranked #19 nationally), Central Arkansas, and Jacksonville State, as well as Florida State, Miami (currently ranked #17 nationally), and the University of Florida (currently ranked #3 nationally).
