Volleyball Remains Undefeated In Conference Play With 3-0 Sweep Of Raptors

ROCKVILLE, Md. - The Frederick Community College volleyball team is hitting their stride at the right time. The Cougars made quick work on the road at Montgomery College on Tuesday night. FCC swept the Raptors in straight sets (25-18, 26-24, 25-11) and extend their winning streak to five in a row. The Cougars are 7-4 overall including 6-0 in conference action.

Credit FCC for battling back to take the second set. The Cougars were trailing 19-12 and fought back to take the set 26-24. This set the tone for the rest of the night and turned out to be a huge momentum shift.

FCC Head Coach Robert Landis had a number of contributions from his team. Katelyn Atchison recorded 9 kills on the night while teammates Alex Felkins and Noel Snow had six and five kills respectively. Leslie Pamer had quite a night for the Cougars dishing out 21 assists setting up her teammates to hammer home the victory. Taylor Martin was a huge factor in the serving department as she recorded five aces.

FCC will hit the road on Thursday (9/28) when they take on Harford Community College in conference play. First serve is set for 6:00 P.M.
