FCC Women's Soccer Inks 18 To National Letters Of Intent

FREDERICK, Md. – The Frederick Community College women's soccer program, under the direction of first year head coach Joe Walker, announced the addition of 18 student-athletes who have inked a National Letter Of Intent and will join the Cougars for the 2018 season.

"We are thrilled to welcome this outstanding group of student athletes to our program," said first year Head Coach Joe Walker. "There is a lot of talent in this group across all different positions and we feel that every one of the signees will bring needed depth and a high level of competitiveness."

Lindsey Brant

Forward | Middletown High School

"Lindsey is a dynamic, attack-minded player with great instincts to find the ball in the attacking third, create a small window to get her shot and has the ability to strike it for power with either foot.  She is a fierce competitor with a winner's mentality who will make an immediate impact on our team."

Alicia Coats

Midfielder | Brunswick High School

"Alicia is a good marking back with the ability to take defenders out of the game. She is confident off the dribble, provides good service from the flank, and has decent speed. We look forward to adding her ability to run at defenders and get behind an opponent's defense."

Rayven Dean

"Rayven brings a great work ethic and solid soccer sense.  She is disciplined, plays simple, and does a great job of picking her spots to join the attack. She is very smart defensively and composed on the ball, which will help us play out of the back very well."
