Cougars Tally 15 Goals In Victory Over PHC

Purcellville. VA.- Another road trip the FCC Lady Cougars women's soccer team with a 15-0 win against Patrick Henry College on October 12.   With three losses from strong and competitive Howard CC, Potomac State College and Harford CC, FCC was looking for a confidence builder game to go to the next level.  The Cougars moved players around in the second half and worked on connecting passes and building the attacking play from the back.  FCC worked on swinging the ball in the back and switching the ball with crosses to the opponent weak side. 

"This was the first game that we shot the ball in the corners of goal to optimize our scoring percentage, said FCC Head Coach Bob Bofinger. "Their goalie was very good with multiple saves." 

Goals were scored by Asia Owen (4), Shannon Boice, Hannah Smith, Rayven Dean, Samantha Marshall, Nicole Endara (2), Victoria Doing, Kaitlin Byrnes, Kelsey Wright, ayley Ruane and Joud Hudhud with assists by Hannah Smith (3), Sharnette Gonzlez, Nicole Endara, Kelsey Wright, Victoria Don (2) and Jade Hillard.

The next game is a very competitive game against Montgomery Community College on Friday, October 14 at 2:00 PM at the Germantown Soccerplex.
