FREDERICK, Maryland - The Frederick Community College women's basketball team struggled to find their mark from the field in the first quarter of their game against College of Southern Maryland, but came back strong to record a 73-64 on Wednesday night in conference action. The Cougars fell behind early by the score of 22-8 in the first quarter, but turned it up in the second half by outscoring the Hawks 25-4 in the third quarter. With the win, FCC improves to 7-2 (2-0 MD JUCO) on the season. The Hawks fall to 3-4 overall, including 1-1 in conference play.
