SCHNECKSVILLE, Pa. - The Frederick Community College women's basketball team improved their record to 6-4 overall on Tuesday night with a convincing 116-64 victory over Lehigh Carbon Community College. The Cougars were in control from the tip as they outscored Lehigh Carbon CC 34-4 in the first stanza.
FCC sophomore sensation Dajah Gee (Forward/Frederick HS) turned in a stellar performance. Gee was locked-in from the start of the game as she poured in a career-high 45 points. She connected on 11-of-14 (79%) from beyond the arc.
Kiara Campozano recorded a double-double with a career-high 23 points and 13 rebounds. Teammates Morgan Mitchell and Aniss Grant scored 18 and 17 points respectively in the victory. Jordan Powe turned in a stellar defensive performance and chipped in with 13 points. The Cougars forced Lehigh Carbon CC into 29 miscues.
FCC will return to the hardwood on Wednesday night when they host the Riverhawks from Anne Arundel Community College. Tip-off is set for 5:00 P.M.
