Cougars can’t hold lead in loss to Trojans   

CUMBERLAND, Maryland – FCC's CJ Williams scored a game high 30 points, but it wasn't enough as the Cougars fell on the road to Allegany College of Maryland 87-80 on Friday night in MD JUCO action. With the loss, FCC falls to 10-16 (5-6 MD JUCO) on the season. The Trojans improve to 10-18, including 4-9 in conference play.

The Cougars started the contest shooting the ball very well from the field. FCC held a 23-10 lead in the first half at the 10 minute mark. The Trojans wouldn't go away quietly, trailing 33-30 heading into halftime.

Juwan Burnett tallied 18 points for the Cougars while teammate Domantas Sakickas registered a double-double with 15 points and double digit boards. AJ Gregory scored 10 points in the loss.

The Cougars will return to the hardwood on Wednesday (2/26) as they battle to keep their postseason hopes alive with a big matchup vs. CCBC Dundalk. Tipoff is slated for 7:00 at the CCBC Dundalk Wellness & Athletics Center.
