FCC men's basketball picks up much-needed win over CCBC Catonsville

FREDERICK, Maryland – Sophomore shooting guard CJ Williams scored a team-high 19 points as FCC led most of the game in earning a well-played 103-80 victory over CCBC Catonsville in a Region XX DII game Saturday afternoon at the Athletics Center on the campus of FCC. Williams led six players in double figures as the Cougars improve to 9-15 overall and 5-5 in conference play.

Williams had the hot hand for FCC and he had plenty of help from his teammates. The Cougars took a 44-36 lead into the locker room and came out scorching the nets in the second half, earning the victory. AJ Gregory turned in a solid performance, scoring 17 points. Juwan Burnett and Christian Knox chipped in with 14 points each. Devon Knaub and Elijah White tallied 10 points each in the win.

FCC will return to the hardwood on 2/18 when they hit the road to battle Manor College. Tipoff is slated for 7:00 PM.
