FREDERICK, Md. – Juwan Burnett had 20 points, five assists, and five steals as No. 18 FCC won its seventh in a row with a convincing 97-76 home victory over Cecil College in Region XX DII action. The Cougars registered five players in double figures and sit at 9-1 on the season, including a perfect 4-0 in MD JUCO conference play. Cecil College falls to 2-7 on the season.

Burnett provided a big spark off the bench for the Cougars as he connected on 7-of-11 field goals. Ben Meredith and Corey Barnett each tallied 18 points. Barnett scorched the nets from beyond the arc, connecting on 4-of-5 long range jumpers. The one-two punch of Dwayne Garner and Henry Okoye were a force in the paint for FCC and too much for the Seahawks.
