Titans pull away in second half, get win over FCC

MONACA, Pa. – The Frederick Community College men's basketball team hit the road for an early test against NJCAA DII No. 17 Community College of Beaver County on Wednesday night. The Titans used a strong second half surge to earn the 92-71 victory over FCC. The Cougars fall to 2-1 on the season and the Titans sit at 2-0.

Freshman Corey Barnett paced FCC with 18 points on six-of-11 shooting from the field. He was a perfect 4-of-4 from the charity strip. Teammates David Garey, Dwayne Garner, Juwan Burnett, and Ben Meredith each poured in 11 points. Garner dished out five assists and grabbed four rebounds.

FCC will return the hardwood this weekend to take part in the Montgomery College Tip-Off Classic. Here is the schedule for this weekend's games for the Cougars.
