Men’s Basketball Ends Regular Season With Blowout Victory Over Catamounts

KEYSER, WV. - It was a celebratory afternoon for FCC Head men's basketball Coach Emonte Hill and the #13 Cougar basketball squad as they finished the regular season on a high note with a convincing road victory. Congrats to Coach Hill as he ties his single-season record for most wins (22, 2014-15).

The Cougars took care of business on the road against Potomac State College of WVU cruising to an 80-58 victory. The Cougars end a two game skid and finish the regular season with a 22-5 mark. FCC sits at 7-1 on the season in Region XX D2 play. FCC earned the No. 1 seed of the upcoming NJCAA Region XX D2 toureny and will play Garrett College. The game will take place at Cecil College on 3/9 with tip-off set at 6:00 P.M.

Morris Robinson continues to dazzle each time he takes the court for FCC. The 1st Team All-Conference selection has put together quite a sophomore campaign. Mo didn't disappoint on Saturday afternoon as he stepped up when his team needed him the most. The quarterback of the FCC offense dropped in 20 points (8-of-11 FGs) and dished out six dimes. Marlon White Jr. scored 18 points (7-of-11 FGs) while teammates Chris Knight and Dwayne Garner chipped in with 10 and eight points respectively. Garner pulled down seven boards in the victory.

FCC was on fire from the field. The Cougars connected on 30-of-44 (68.2%) field goals in the victory, including 7-of-15 (46.7) from beyond the arc.
