FREDERICK, Md. - For the fourth consecutive week, the Frederick Community College men's basketball team is ranked among the Top 20 nationally in the NJCAA D2 Poll, as they jumped up three spots in this week's rankings.
13 IN A ROW FOR FCC
FCC enters the week having won 13 straight games and their last loss took place on November 21, 2017. The Cougars are 18-2 overall, inculding a record of 9-1 in conferece action.
Most recently, FCC is coming off an impressive road win over Cecil College on Saturday (1/27) to improve to 4-0 in the Region XX D2 play. Sophomore point guard Morris Robinson scored a team-high 21 points on 7-of-12 shooting from the field. Robinson turned up it on the defensive end while recording four steals. Teammates Marlon White Jr. and Dashon Bell chipped in with 14 and 10 points respectively.
The Cougars return to the hardwood on Wednesday, January 31st when they host the Hawks from College of Southern Maryland (10-8 overall). Tip-off is set for 7:00 P.M. at the Athletics Center. Prior to tip-off, the men's basketball program will honor the following six sophomores: Morris Robinson, Marlon White Jr., Dashon Bell, Javon Daniels, Keon Claiborne, Kenneth Stancell Jr.
