DUNDALK, Md. - After a two week hiatus, the FCC men's basketball team returned to the court on Saturday afternoon and picked up right where they left off, ringing in the New Year with a solid 74-67 road victory over CCBC Dundalk. With the victory, FCC extends their winning streak to eight games and are off to one of the best starts in the program's history sporting a 13-2 (4-1 MD JUCO) record. The Lions fall to 3-12 (1-5 MD JUCO) on the season.

FCC Head Coach Emonte Hill got solid contributions from the big men in the middle. Freshmen Dwayne Garner and Chris Knight were dominant in the paint leading the Cougars to victory. Knight pumped in 13 points and pulled down three boards while Garner went for 11 points and eight boards. Teammate Keon Claiborne continues to fill the stats sheet for the Cougars as he scored 9 points and grabbed eight rebounds in the victory.

The Cougars will return to the hardwood on Wednesday (1/10/18) when they host the Cardinals from CCBC Catonsville. Tip-off is set for 7:00 P.M. in the Athletics Center.
