Austin leaves the yard to fuel baseball to victory

GLENVILLE, WV – The Frederick Community College baseball team squared off against Glenville State College JV on Thursday afternoon. The Cougars would hang on for the 6-5 victory. With the victory, FCC improves to 15-10 on the year.

FCC's third baseman Brandon Austin hit his first homer on the year and went 2-for-3 at the plate. Hayden Kissel also slugged a pair of hits for FCC in the victory.

FCC starting pitcher Antonio Bianchini earned the victory on the hill. He improves to 2-2 on the season. Bianchini tossed six innings and gave up four earned runs. He fanned seven batters. Brayden Coe continues to be sharp out of the bullpen to pick up his second save on the season. Coe threw one inning and struck out two batters.
