From Supporting our Team to Supporting our Country

 FCC Women's Lacrosse program is honored to announce that their 2018 team manager, Emily Frank, reports this week for the US Navy basic training at the Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, North Chicago, Illinois. Emily graduated from Governor Thomas Johnson High School in 2016 and took classes at Frederick Community College.

During the eight-week program, Emily will complete a variety of training including classroom study and practical instruction on naval customs, first aid, firefighting, water safety and survival, shipboard and aircraft safety, with an emphasis on physical fitness.  Emily's training will focus on sacrifice, dedication, teamwork and endurance along with the core values of Honor, Courage and Commitment. Throughout the 2018 season, Emily demonstrated a significant level of dedication and commitment and we are proud to have one of our own serve our country.

Upon completion from Basic Training, Emily will advance to Aviation Mechanic training in Pensacola, Florida.
